Modes of Presentation

Paper Presentations (45 minutes)

The paper presentation proposal should indicate the purpose of the study and its relevance to the theme of the conference.  The presentation as such should be delivered in an engaging manner with, for example, the use of power point or other visual aids, refraining from the traditional reading mode.  The presentation may include completed research or current research.  Presentations should contain the title, methodology (including the data collection), analysis procedures, actual/anticipated findings and practical implications for the learning environment and/or further research.

• Title of the presentation (max. 10 words)
• A clear, detailed explanation of the purpose of the presentation and relevance to the conference theme (max. 350 words)
• An abstract for the conference programme (max. 60 words)

 

 

 

Poster Presentations

This year we are encouraging posters from all stakeholders in the learning environment, teachers, learners, directors etc.  There will be a special area designated for posters.  The proposal submission must include:

• Title of the poster (max. 10 words)
• A clear, detailed explanation of its purpose and relevance to the conference theme (max. 350 words)
• An abstract for the conference programme (max. 60 words)

 The poster design should meet the poster criteria

 

 

 

 

Workshop Presentations (45mins)

Workshops should aim to introduce a new perspective/practice into the learning environment.  This could include teaching and learning ideas, approaches, activities or software.  The workshop proposal should clearly state its purpose, based around the conference theme, as well as clearly show the various stages and activities that conference delegates will interactively participate in during the session. 

• Title of the workshop presentation (max. 10 words)
• A clear, detailed explanation of the purpose of the workshop and relevance to the conference theme (max. 350 words)
• An abstract for the conference programme (max. 60 words)
